Pacman Back From US Training
He’s back.
I think it was a good idea for Freddie Roach to put his food down and let Manny train in the States. Training here in the Philippines is just way too much of a distraction. Just to let you folks know how big Manny Pacquiao is here in the Philippines, I’ll list some of the products he is endorsing.
1. McDonalds
2. No Fear (clothing)
3. San Miguel Beer
4. Burlington (socks)
5. Pain Killer Tablet (forgot the name)
6. Sardines (also forgot the name, who remembers this stuff anyway?)
7. Car Battery (I should have my brain check.)
See? This is why it’s a big no-no to train here. Aside from product endorsements, there are also people who would like to gain attention by “associating” themselves with Manny. Who are they? Who else but the politicians.
Of course, it boosts their image if they’re seen together with Manny at a press conference or at the front page of the daily newspaper.
Free PR.
On the other hand, training in the States offers less distraction so that Manny can concentrate on the fight. Besides, he could spar with more taller and bigger guys there than here which could help him since Larios is taller. There are rumors that Pacquiao is taking Larios lightly. Not taking anyway from Larios but he is just no match for Pacquiao pound for pound that even if I were Pacquiao that would be at the back of my mind.
I still think Pacman will knockout Larios. It’s just inevitable.
I can’t wait.

Among the things you listed, Pac also endorses the following:
1. Alaxan, Circulan, Robitussin
2. Magnolia products (esp. Ice Cream)
3. Datu Puti vinegar
4. Extreme Magic Sing (magic microphone)
5. Motolite Car Battery
6. Undergarment (forgot the brand).
I think he’s slowly reaping more money from being the Lord of Commercials Ring in the Philippines. I just hope this doesn’t end his boxing career prematurely. Although, he has every right to do so.
And we all need San Miguel beer… :p
For kicks maybe Pacman should give Larios an unfair advantage and drink before the fight. That should be interesting. Haha
