Date: 2007-11-10, 6:56PM PSTA dearly departed friend left Casper in my care but my landlord won’t allow him.
I look to move in 8 months to a year and meanwhile I take the ‘IT TAKES A VILLAGE APPROACH’
SO if you LOVE canines BUT CAN’T COMMIT????–HERE’S THE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP! I take Casper most weekends as I am a musician and am on the road. During the week I work 9-5.
I have great references and have been using this approach for the past year but the foster is in the valley and not ideal so…
Casper is a GREAT POOCH looking for a long term foster. A stipend of >$250 monthly will be paid for his safekeeping. All his food and medical will be taken care of.
Due to extenuating circumstances Casper is homeless. The past 9 months Casper has had the same foster home and has had perfect behavior with the four humans in the house he lived in. Unfortunately Casper is nervous around other dogs for he is deaf since birth and the toy poodle living in the house Casper was at, made Casper nervous and territorial over his humans. Casper loves his humans . This is a loyal, obedient and truly peaceful dog IF he lives in a home with no other animals. Being deaf he cannot have other animals unexpectedly intrude in his world.
Casper is wonderful at peace and quiet for unlike most dogs he rarely barks for Casper cannot hear. He is playful, loving and gentle. Fetch is his favorite game. He is NOT a needy dog. If he has a calm loving environment he settles in easily.
If a foster can be found in the West Hollywood area Casper’s daily walkings (morning and evening) will be provided. This sweet dog is 33 pounds, 7 years young, in great health and neutered. If you will provide great references we will do the same. to see pics of casper look in ‘pets’ and use the search in the title ‘canine companionship’* Location: West Hollywood
* it’s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
* Compensation: $250 monthly
I feel bad for Casper, really I do. Poor dog. Sounds like he has big time trust issues…what are we to do? I know, let’s send him to foster care! Let’s schlep him to yet another home. Let’s pass him back and forth between owners, that oughta cure what ails him. I understand this person is trying to do some good here, it just makes me wonder if its the best solution for this particular dog?
And frankly what does any of this have to do with writers?
