I spent about 15 minutes I think it was watching a video that has been posted on the BASS homepage. The video is pretty much just a documentary commentated by Paul Elias about his final day on Lake Falcon during the recent Elite Series stop.
Paul goes into some detail about what he thought his chances were of winning the morning before the launch, some of the things he was fishing, and how he went about practicing and preparing for the event. If you have the time I recommend you watch it. I really never saw Elias as a threat to win an event like this and I don’t think he did neither, but after watching this I think you’ll have a new appreciation for the veteran.
The video was created by Matt Barnette and he did an outstanding job.

FYI:
The video was actually created by John Paul Bodiak. Matt Barnette just published the video to ESPNOUTDOORS.com
Hey man, I appreciate it, but I didn’t cut the video. I do all the graphics on ESPNOutdoors.com. The editor in question is JOHN PAUL BODIAK who is a very underrated uber-talented guy who’s made his way through the ranks working on the BASS Tournament trail show along with lots of other great stuff.
Just wanted to clear that up! J.P. Bodiak is the man!
That day out at Lake Falcon was just sick all around … honestly, I’m still a little shocked that Elias wound up walking away with the win.
