PayPal tricks
Well, these aren’t really tricks. Just a few things I learned recently that have to do with PayPal (I’m a fanboy).
First, iTunes has an option that lets you pay with PayPal. I know that’s probably not earthshaking news, but I’ve almost always got a few bucks in PayPal and it makes me feel better to spend that cash rather than put the purchase on a credit card.
Second, PayPal has this thing called a virtual MasterCard. It’s basically a code for a PayPal debit card that you can use as a card anywhere they don’t accept PayPal. Just logon and go to the ‘Withdraw’ tab. You’ll see an option for a debit card.
Third, you can get a physical debit card along with your virtual one. That’ll let you buy your groceries with the money you made by selling bobbleheads on ebay. PayPal is so cool.
And yes, I know about Google Checkout. Still checking it out.

!!!!! Is the virtual Mastercard thing just for PayPal America or does it work in other countries too? That could be a LIFESAVER.
No idea, since all I see is the American version. Guess you’ll have to look… :-)
I’m with you on the iTunes thing. Between the few bucks I keep in my account, and the fairly frequent iTunes gift cards I get, it’s almost like getting free music.
Almost… :)
I’m getting 1% INSTANT cash back with all PayPal “Mastercard” purchases I sign for PLUS 5% interest as a business account. Totally beats a bank. Only fees I pay are incoming payments. Drawback is no FDIC insurance because paypal is not a bank.
