I have previously reported on the 3DMark Vantage on the computer benchmarking. The benchmark is done on the 3D graphics card. Aside from 3DMark Vantage, there is the PCMark Vantage which is a PC benchmark suite designed for Windows Vista. The software offers one-click operation for users and detailed, professional grade testing for industry, press and enthusiasts.
A PCMark score is the result of your computer’s performance across a variety of common tasks namely: viewing and editing photos, video, music and other media, gaming, communications, productivity and security.
The PCMark Vantage can be used on desktops, laptops, workstations and gaming rigs. The results can be compared with other similar systems to help you find hardware and software bottlenecks.
