I think that Bull Shit did a good job of pointing out huge holes in the idea that kids who play FPS will end up massacring a school full of children. My husband and I have already had a conversation about whether we would let our 8 yr old [or however young/old] play FPS and we both decided that it will depend on our kids in a couple of years. Only the parent really knows their kid [or should know] and it's definitely a matter of maturity.

This hits close to home because I grew up playing FPS and now my kids are playing it too. My reason is that since me and my friends didn't grow up to be homicidal-suicidal mass killers, then it must be ok for them to play it too.

Thanks, you inspired me to blog about it here
