Personal Finance Review: moneyStrands

There is no shortgage of options available to you if you want to use the Internet to keep track of your finances. One of the latest offering is a personal finance site called moneyStrands. Like other personal finance software, moneyStrands gathers your account information and organizes it in a fashion that allows you to easily see where you stand. Colorful and detailed graphics make your financial situation crystal clear, and budget planning tools allow you to create a roadmap for your finances.
But moneyStrands offers more than just your run-of-the-mill personal finance software. moneyStrands has an interesting social component that can connect you with people who share the same goals and situation as you. It also makes it easy for you to share (and receive) financial tips from those you connect with. Another interesting feature includes recommendations. Based on your financial habits and data, you can be directed to savings, products and services that might meet your needs.
One of the things I like about moneyStrands is that you can be anonymous if you want. I don’t like that you have to share your account logins and passwords, but that’s standard for any online money management system. Besides, moneyStrands plans to add a manual option so that disclosing your passwords won’t be necessary.
Overall, I think this looks like an interesting way to manage your money. It’s another great option for online money management.
Have you tried moneyStrands? What do you think?
