Pete Rose: Alex Rodriguez Belongs in Hall

If there’s an expert about whether or not someone deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, it is definitely Pete Rose. The former baseball superstar who was banned from the sport for betting on games is not eligible to be in the Hall of Fame. However, when questioned recently on “The Dan Patrick Show”, Rose says that he believes that Alex Rodriguez deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
Rodriguez, who has admitted to steroid use and has even more steroid allegation surrounding him, is almost a certain Hall of Famer. The only thing between Rodriguez and the Hall of Fame are those steroid allegations and Rose doesn’t believe they should keep him on the outside looking in.
Said Rose: “I’m willing to give a guy a second chance.”
Although Rose supports Rodriguez, he had some stern words for steroids in general.
“When you take steroids you have a direct outcome of the game,” said Rose. “That’s the integrity of the game and when you can change records when you do something illegal, it’s just not right.”
