Philippine TV Network Screws YouTube Advocate

Backwater third-world TV networks can be even more clueless than their first-world counterparts. When Philippine TV network ABS-CBN was recently embroiled in a game show cheating scandal, blogger Jepoy Bengero posted a YouTube video defending them. ABS-CBN even praised Jepoy for doing so:

In fact, YouTube users beat ABS-CBN in analyzing how the technical glitch on August 20 happened (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQNPPhXXhqc). This explanation was posted by a Filipino gaming site, www.gameops.net and is virtually the same explanation later given and demonstrated by Willie.

The poster from www.gameops.net said that this earlier, original design was the “most logical”, “most economical” design.

Four months later, they have the video taken down for copyright reasons. Apparently, at ABS-CBN, the left hand knows not what the right is doing. Way to screw your staunchest advocates, guys.
