Phoenix Wright Chuckles
Well, I bet the first game in the Phoenix Wright series quite a few weeks ago and ever since then, I’ve been working my way through Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. The only thing I wish for after playing a game like this is that attorney’s really prosectued and defended people like they do in Phoenix Wright. In the Phoenix Wright games, the judge of the case almost immidiately agrees with the Prosecution, even though the facts make no sense.
Let me give you a scenario that we might just see in one of these Phoenix Wright games.

Yes, the prosecution does hold a whip.
The Prosecution: The defendant has to be the one who murdered the victim. Why? It’s simple really. The defendant was seen eating a hot dog right next to the victim in line at a gas station. There is no room for discussion here, as this clearly makes the defense guilty!
The Judge: Well, that does make sense. Defendants seen eating hot dogs in the vicinity of the victim usually means that the defendant KILLED the victim! I see no reason to go further in this trial, unless the defense has something to say.
The Defense: Oh my gentle Jebus. This judge is a complete tool.
No, seriously. I would not doubt if this scenario made it some where into a Phoenix Wright game! The judge ALWAYS thinks the Prosecution is right and can’t think beyond the logic the prosecution throws out.
There is one thing I can say about these games, though. They are a lot of fun. I think it’s because you can laugh at how weird the cases generally go. So, if you’ve been putting off playing this series because you think it looks silly, you should definitely give it a try. It’s way more fun than I thought it would be!
