Pimp week
Through a strange convergence of events, this next week is going to have more than the usual recommendations and pointers to products and services. I’m not turning into a total shill, but it may seem like it this week. I’ve got a review of a forthcoming book by David Lorenzo (I liked it) and I’ll be giving away ten copies; I had a chance to take a look at the new offerings from OVO (a spinoff of Netcentrics) that help companies systematize their innovation practices; I’ve got the latest news from our pal Laurence Haughton; I’ve got a pointer to a new magazine that I really like; my father-in-law is moving to Oregon and bringing his HR consulting services with him, including his conflict management seminar; finally, I’ve got at least one change on the blog that’s worth pointing out. Whew.
It’s not all pimping though. I’ve also been working on another ‘management hack’ post that I’m hoping to finish this week and I’ve been noodling around with various online list managers for a while, trying to see if any are worth integrating into my own workflow. Not sure whether that review will be done this week, but it’s on the docket. And, as usual, any other mental foam that floats to the top of my mind.
