Pitch Black Multiplayer Mode for Chronicles of Riddick

New details have surfaced about Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena’s multiplayer modes. One of these will include a ‘Pitch Black’ mode, set entirely in the dark.
If you want all the full details, you should pick up the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine in the US, but here’s a few more details:
- Online modes will include 12-player deathmatch and capture the flag modes
- Butcher Ray Riot game with teams of 4v4
- Teams will be comprised of: guards, mercenaries, prisoners
- ‘Pitch Black’ mode: players are placed in a dark arena “and makes one of them a fast-moving, ultra blade-wielding Riddick” who can see in the dark. The others must fend for themselves against the Riddick.
Sounds like a lot of awesomeness. Really looking forward to this game. Twenty maps are currently in development for the game, which is slated for early 2009.
