Plaxico Burress Shoots Himself in the Foot

Plaxico Burress, the lanky and talented wide receiver for the New York Giants, shot himself in the foot on Friday night. Burress was admitted into the hospital but was released on Saturday afternoon. Thankfully, it was only a flesh wound and shouldn’t have a negative long-term affect on Plaxico’s NFL career.
(To be technically correct, the shooting was an accident … and it was closer to his thigh than his foot. But those facts get in the way of a good headline.)
After helping the Giants win the Super Bowl last season, Burress has been a disaster this year. His play on the football field hasn’t been nearly as good as the last two seasons. He got suspended for not following team rules and now this. It’s safe to say the Super Bowl victory has gone to Plaxico’s head and laid eggs.
Unlike NBA and MLB players, NFL players can actually be waived and lose money. Shooting yourself in the foot, in this case, is literally shooting yourself in the foot. Plaxico better get his head on straight, put down the guns and get back to playing football. If not, he could find himself as a free agent after the season — especially considering that the Giants are doing just fine without him.

One of the most famous and giant players Plaxico Burress has been admitted into hospital after hurting his leg. The good news is that it was not major injury. So, he did not have to stay outside for long time. So, I would like to pray and asked him to come back again and give us some entertainment.
