Pluto – The Tribe Has Spoken

So, it’s almost fact, Pluto is no longer a planet. Or at least not the type to get to hang-out with all the other planets. Now you’re able to call it a “dwarf planet”. I wonder how long it will take for the ACLU to prosecute that one in court and it’s impact on the labeling of other smaller beings to a lower status than larger ones.

It hit home to me yesterday when my son came home from first grade and said he learned about the planets. I asked him how many there were and he said “Nine”. Guess the news hasn’t reached the educational system yet, or maybe they’re waiting for it to become official.

So what else in the world can we decide to reclassify and change history?
