Pokemon Platinum Japanese TV Spot

How…how did I miss news about a new Pokemon game until now? Until two weeks before its Japanese release?

(Easy answer: “I’m not ten! Dur hur hur!”)

As the proprietor of this handheld blog, I ashamedly ask for your forgiveness.

It’s not that I’m not a Pokemon fan. Well, I’m not. Not since Pokemon Red. I played through much of Pokemon Diamond and enjoyed it, but the depth of the games makes me dizzy with intimidation.

Yeah, Pokemon intimidates me. Want to make something of it?

At the very least, I’ve retrieved a cute little Japanese commercial for the newest adventure, Pokemon Platinum. Platinum, as it so happens, is an enhanced remake of Diamond and Pearl.

Oh, and how is it that Pikachu fell into the water without killing himself and everyone around him?
