from Pokerstars:

$2 million Raised by PokerStars Players for Earthquake Relief

PokerStars and Team PokerStars Pro are always ready and willing to step forward to help those in need, and recent weeks have been no different. Following the recent devastating earthquake in China, PokerStars jumped into action and urged their players to donate to the cause. A staggering $285,248.18 was raised, all of which will go directly to the Red Cross’s fund for aiding victims of the disaster. The fundraising followed a charity tournament held at PokerStars Macau, Macau’s first dedicated poker room, which raised thousands for the cause, with every dollar donated being doubled by PokerStars.

I am glad pokerstars is doing something to help but the chinese government has more then enough money to help it’s people with.

I would have liked to see something done for the people of burma (now known as Myanmar) but I think they are all dead by now.
