Pokémon Platinum on Nintendo DS

Pokémon Platinum was released on March 22, 2009 in North America and it is yet another in the series of games based on the popular animated show from Japan.  In pokemon platinum theory, this newest installment is really just an enhanced remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

In this game, Giranta is the mascot and, suddenly, Sinnoh’s climate becomes colder (even video game characters are having to deal with climate change!) after the portal to the “Distortion World” is opened.  Things get a little strange since the trainers have to change clothes to deal with the cold and they discover that the normal physical laws no longer apply.

I haven’t actually tried the game but, judging from the trailer, it looks similar to what you would find in the Diamond, Pearl and even Emerald versions.  Watch it and judge for yourself:
