Political Chat At Interview Chatter – “I Find It Curious”

The Democratic Primary is coming to an end one way or another over the next week or so. Hillary Clinton is still in the race to beat Barak Obama. Both have had some verbal gaffs over the last few months. Hillary Clinton’s comment is simply over the top. One of her comments, “I find it curious” – She finds it curious that people want her out of the race and uses Bobby Kennedy’s assassination as a reason for why she shouldn’t get out of the race.

hillary-clinton-2.jpgI find her comment curious. I am hearing all of the pundits give their two cents about what she meant. I heard her explanation about what she meant. But, I find it curious. I am not offended by her comment, but it makes me pause. It makes me think about what her comment is connected to. My first thought, it seemed to imply that anything can happen in June. As a result of what happened to Bobby Kennedy in June, she should remain in the race. The problem with that, is the natural conclusion is that you, Hillary, have an expectation that something bad is going to happen. That is the implication of her comment.

I don’t believe it has anything to do with what is happening with Senator Kennedy. I refuse to attribute it to her being tired. I won’t believe that she has hopes to believe that something might happen to Barack Obama, however, I am left to say, “I find her comment curious.” I would like to see Hillary Clinton bow out of the race. I believe it is past time. If something happens in June, it will not bode well for her or our political process. If something happens in June, it will be curious.

  1. Hola!! I find it very curious too… I think I’m joining the rest that are crossing their fingers hoping for the best outcome possible from these very interesting elections…

    Hi Darlene,

I find it to be the worst possible gaffe she could have made. Borders on stupidity and I don’t want another one of those in the White House again!

I’ve had enough of lies and spin. I know I’m not alone.

My hope is what? Wish I knew. This election is turning into another disaster for this country imho. It’s going to boil down to the lesser of the evils and that won’t be doing justice to America nor will it resolve the crisis we’re in now.

  3. Nicely said. Hopefully she’ll come to her senses before too long and this primary foolishness will be done with.

  4. Hi Chris! Thanks for visiting Interview Chatter tonight. Thank you for your comment. I to, am ready to move beyond this primary “foolishness”. I believe the general election run will be equally interesting for us.

Mark – I have very strong feelings about the Clinton’s being in the White House again. May it never be! That is all I will say for now! Thanks for visiting!

anyone else find exception with the last ministers comments “white embrace what’s right” What does that mean? I feel hurt by that comment.
