Funny that you mention that. Yes it might effect his candidacy but in the right way. Of all people to be singing his praises today - did you see? Good ol Bill Clinton! Now let me say this, whether right or wrong, Bill seems to get a lot of people behind him. Bill supporting John and almost endorsing him when discussing this suspension of the campaign. WOW...

Hey Jason, Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments, but I do think it will affect his candidacy. People who are on the fence about him and Obama, may not see this ploy as credible and therefore erode his credibility as a leader. There are so many different ways he could have accomplished the transition of going to Washington DC to participate in the effort to work through this economic "blood letting". (Forgive the graphic depiction). I have no problem with him going back to DC or with him coming off the campaign trail, but there is another way to frame it rather than "suspending his campaign." That's how I see it.

Come on, I am a conservative and I can even see through this one. I was looking at a pole on CNN, where nearly 70% of the respondents said it was a political ploy. It is sad, but it is very difficult to know whether they are being genuine or not in the process.

From a hiring perspective....his candidacy unlike if this were a typical job process will not be effected since the process has already determined him for the nomination. He will be able to pick up where he left off and continue the process. The issue will be whether he has lost ground to Obama in the process.
