Hi Carol, Thank you for visiting Interview Chatter tonight. I appreciate your comment!! It will be an interesting place to live with either candidate, however I would much rather deal with a leader, not a novice. That is all I will say for now. Feel free to stop by anytime!!

I find it hard to believe that most people are so gullable to believe anything said.Mccain has a backround.Palin is a normal citizen new to government corruption.Obama has a bad backround as to who he has associated with.Numerous problems. He has the gift of talk but thats it.If it was so easy to give health care and everything else we would have had it already. My choice will be Mccain only because he is more trust worthy and since we are in a world with terrorists and big problems.Good luck to whoever chooses Obama..When things don't pan out with him please don't cry or complain because you put in there

The really scary thing is the feeling that, at this point, it's going to come down to my gut instinct. I have absolutely no plan. Sad way to go about it, perhaps?

I prefer Obama's stance over McCain's stance on mental health parity (that's a biggie for me). I respect (and, admittedly feel a bit "safer" because of) McCain's war experience. (Not the fact that he's seen war, but the way he survived it.)

As far as "experience" in politics goes, I'm kind of in the middle. I recognize that McCain has more, and that could go either way. Things could stay the same with this country, or he could turn it around. Obama has very little, and that, too, could go either way - it could be a complete disaster, or it could be exactly what this country needs.

Lies, thus far, haven't played a huge role (perhaps I'm jaded - my little neck of the woods is so political, and lies are akin to air). I think what we have to do is take the issues - and the candidates stance on the issues - choose what's a better "fit" for us (or at least sounds like a better fit), and go with it. It could be good, or it could be bad. It's always a gamble.

I do have to admit, though, that McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for VP hurt my opinion of him a bit. I just don't like the woman. I don't like a lot of what she stands for (not all, but a lot).

So...that kind of raises a new question related to your post - as "employers," should the company that our "prospective employees" keep play a role in the "hiring process"? Haha.

Hi Alicia, Thank you for visiting Interview Chatter tonight. I would love to know what you are going to use to help you make a decision. Are planning on voting? What will help you make the decision when you are in the voting booth?
