I consider that bad politicians can have a permanent and deadly effect on business through lying, manipulation and greed at the highest levels which, in turn can have a deadly effect on human beings everywhere.

IMO - it sure as he** needs to be openly discussed and thoroughly... and... LOUDLY!!!

This is a fabulous question!

It's really interesting on two levels - will your political beliefs "turn off" your colleagues? and perhaps more importantly - will your political beliefs "turn off" your potential clients?

It's a tough issue. At the office, we talk politics a great deal. It can get heated. Post 9/11 was particularly dicey.

But I have to be more careful outside of the office. I work in a conservative field with conservative clients. I am, er, not so conservative. Offending clients, or potential clients, is a risk. I have to watch my blog, my letters to the editor, etc.

I'd love to hear how others deal with this!
