Portable Blu-Ray?

Sony’s probably already thrilled with the recent news about Warner Bros focusing exclusively on Blu-ray releases and dropping HD DVD altogether. Hang on to your breeches because here comes another Blu-ray bombshell: BD-Live interactivity that, among other things, will let users extract movie content for use as mobile phone ringtones, etc.

Even more thrilling is news about Sony including PSP-encoding for some of their Blu-ray titles, clearing a bit of the fallout left behind by the failure of the UMD movie format.
