Portland meetup

Had a fun evening last night with Jon and David at Jimmy Maks in Portland. Jon noted on his blog that he’d be in town, so David scoped outthe venue and we all met up. It was pretty fun to meet a couple of other business bloggers in person and talk shop. As you can imagine, the conversation ranged widely, but often rolled back around to blogs. Jon gave a bit of an update on the 100Bloggers project (it’s moving along, slowly but surely) and David "dialed" us in on his business. David is actually doing what a lot of folks are talking about. He’s blogging for his company, raising the profile and being the unofficial spokesperson.

All in all, it was a fun night out. Jimmy Maks was pretty empty when we got there, but by the time we left, Dan Balmer was ripping it up with a drummer and stand up bass. Good stuff, thanks again guys!
