9.77 WR Plates on a Mercedez Benz!
How cool is that?
Of course, Asafa Powell IS the fastest man in the world right now, so, he is entitled to a few indulges every now and then. And, yea, he did run the current world record of 9.77 seconds in the 100m track event — several times!
He did tested positive of using performance-enhancing drugs when he ran that record the first time but proved everyone [people who thought that his running the record was a fluke] wrong when he did it again and again — and again?
It’s so refreshing to read something like this article I came across about an Olympian such as Powell. It made me see him in a different light. Coolness.

Actually Powell has never tested positive for drugs. It was Justin Gatlin that was suspended for testing positive recently.

wow, 9.77 is blazing with or without drugs. Did Asafa run in college?
I believe he’s still studying, however, I’m not entirely sure if he competes for his uni. If he still does I should think he intimidates the hell out of his opponents! They’ll be stressing more on beating the fastest man in the world than getting their diploma. LOL. :)
