Pregnant Man | Not Another Mork And Mindy Episode

junior Some of you may have seen this on the news. A pregnant man. No, it’s not an experiment like the movie Junior with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It’s more of a switch-a-roo. This is NOT a miracle. Do not be mislead by news headlines and all the hype. This person was born as a woman, but it’s no secret or scam. He is very open about it and the media is all over it.

Check out a video here from MSN

Thomas Beatie was born a woman but opted to become a man yet keep the reproductive organs he was born with. At 24 years old she decided to start testosterone treatments and have breast surgery to remove glands and flatten the chest. He stopped taking the testosterone treatments a couple of years ago and level are apparently normal. Is this safe for the child? Thomas and his wife have been legally married for 5 years and have 2 children from her (the wife) previous marriage.

I can understand the persons desire to have a child and I hope it is born healthy but I’m still not 100% sure what to think of this. It’s not a breakthrough for science by any means because after all it is a woman that appears and lives as a man with female sex organs. What’s that mean for their sex life? I really don’t know or want to think about it. The wife artificially inseminated her husband with sperm bought from a sperm bank.

Oprah Windfrey said it is “a new definition of what diversity means for everybody.” I don’t know what the hell that really means. It’s all really weird to me. My first question is where to buy maternity clothes for a man?

  1. Nick says:

High levels of Testosterone in the womb are known to affect the brain development of the unborn child, leading to severe behavioural problems. Some doctors believe it is the main cause of Autism. A study on convicted rapists showed that 92 percent had been exposed to higher than normal levels of Testosterone in the womb.
This child has been exposed to unprecedentedly high levels of testosterone!

It could be a real beast, if it survives after the pregnancy.
