DavidZandiIf fans were in charge, it looks like a real Persian Prince would be cast in the title roll of Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persiamovie.

Across the board, regardless of the geographical location of the resondents, a casting survey selected a relative unknown (at least in these here parts) over Hollywood big leaguers like Orli Bloom, and Jared Leto.

Scoring a clear majority of 70% of the votes was David Zandi, who addition to being an actor/film executive, equestrian champ, and model, also just so happens to be a Persian Prince.

No. Really.

Apparently Zandi is one of the last male members of a Persian dynasty that ruled in the mid-to-late 1700’s. Check one, appropriateness. He’s also an accomplished swordsman and fencer. Check two, appropriateness. And lastly, according to poll respondents, he looks an awful lot like the game’s Prince. Check three.
