Print Advertising is Back: 3D Imaging on Print Ads

Print advertising has gone bland for the past decade. There’s not much you can do with a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper on a magazine showing off a corproate brand or some sticky catch phrase. Sure, we’ve had those “scratch and sniff” advertisments and QR codes which you can tag using your cameraphone. The truth is, advertising is losing its adhesive properties and unless agencies do some thinking outside of the box, we’re doomed!

Here’s one interesting way to make use of paper, which by the way online media cannot do. It’s a 3D rendition of a Mini that appears when you hold the paper up to a webcam.
