I say “producing” rather than “writing” because the added multimedia options out there now should be shifting the way you look at your blog. You now have your very own channel to broadcast any Information in any format you choose.
You don’t just have a blog. You have your very own “Food Network.” Video. Audio. Pictures. Print. It is your very own digital media empire. With this in mind, you could:
1. Have your own TV show
“In the Kitchen with chef.” Show how you make some of your most popular dishes. Build anticipation for the food you serve by letting them see what goes into it.
2. Do A “Call-in Radio Show.”
Let people come to you for expert advice In the Kitchen, There are plenty of services out there that make this possible: Skype, Utterli, uStream.
5. Have a testimonial party
Host an invitation-only night where you invite some VIPs in for free food. Periodically make the rounds during each course and solicit feedback from your guests. It would be a good idea to have your video camera on hand. Post the video in bite-sized chunks on your site.
6 Recipes recine, recipes
Publish recipes on your blog–It doesn’t have to be the ones from your restaurant, personal or family favorites. Heck, have a recipe contest and let your readers
compete for a chance to be apart of your menu.
7. Buyer’s guide
Show them how to properly buy meat, produce, etc. Show them how to store and prepare food, etc.
There you have it: a well-rounded restaurant blog that people will visit over and over again.
