Promotion: Fantasy Football With Pay the Fan

It wasn’t that long ago that we knew little more about Fantasy Football than what we read over at The Fantasy Kickoff.

Well, now we’re in the game. And we like it! (Again, like yesterday, not like it like it the way we like Roger Federer, Ralph Fiennes, et al, but still.).

Our NFL good time takes place at Pay the Fan. It’s just what it sounds like: Fantasy Football with a chance to win some coin. Serious coin, as in,  $10,000 weekly and—brace yourself—$250,ooo for the season if you sign up in the first two weeks of the season (sure, it’s too late for that now but there’s always next year). Can we get a “wow” here?

So how does it work? The fee to play for the weekly $10K is $39.95; for a stab at the weekly prize and the end of season $250K, it’s $69.95. With 50 teams getting a chance at cashola, it’s a good deal. You select your team name and then go to town each week selecting fantasy picks (you may use players twice in a season).

Pay the Fan is easy-peasy to navigate, and the site admins keep us fantasy folks in the the loop with email updates. And come on, Terry Bradshaw is on board! So what if he looks like Hulk Hogan. You know he wouldn’t play if it were serious fantasy football for serious players . . . and newbies like yours truly!
