Prudent E-bullion on Minvestment Scam
Digital Gold Currency, E-bullion has been on the ball with Minvestment, a HYIP that utilized their payment gateway.
From David Mullings (source),
I read the recent article about Minvestment with interest, especially because I had been asked to do some research on it by a very close friend who heard about it back in November. He called me this morning and forwarded two emails from e-Bullion are very important for those considering investing with this HYIP. My friend ran into a problem recently – e-Bullion was not allowing him to deposit money with Minvestment. He sent an email and got the following response:
Hello,
Minvestment was instructed to leave the system by 1/16/08 and your errors are a result of their new accounts that they’ve been opening (strictly against e-Bullions orders) being blocked. We would highly suggest that you use an alternate payment processor to fund Minvestment if you still feel obligated to send them your funds.
Regards,
Security Operations, e-Bullion
Digital Currencies should setup a form of alliance with one another and match them together for HYIP scamming IPs and freeze those accounts if need be if suspected of cheating innocent consumers/ investors.
E-bullion has made a really nice move. Bravo.

Minvestment was told to leave the ebullion system because a person that was not even invested with them wrote e-bullion and said that Minvestment was a scam… until then, for seven months Minvestment has been paying steadily. so i wanna know how can someone that isn’t even vested with the company has so much clout?
even for 7 months, I believe there are scams that pay over 1 and a half even to two years. Ask those in Solid Investments and many other scams.
It’s pretty obvious Minvest is a HYIP scam, shoot me if you want, but this is the blatant truth.
Paying steady, doesn’t mean its not a scam, it looks like a ponzi to me. Good luck to your investment if you’re with them.
Mad Bull, this scam,HYIP whatever someone wants to call it, hit Jamaica about 6-7 months ago. I want to meet at least one person who got paid.
And I agree with Benson, scam HYIPs need to do payouts to continue to feed teh frenzy, so the people who jump in early and jumout early too will benefit.
Scam or no scam……the guyz at minvestment are still paying to the best of my knowledge (I just withdraw some fund this morning).
I suggest you guyz sheath your swords until we hear they’re no more paying.
Benson
Thanks for wishing us luck……we need it.
No problem, I wish everyone would get their money or even make some. but take note, if you’re making some, I’m sure someone behind are losing some.
How unethical and low can we be? If a scam is paying you money, it’s dirty money, as you’re investing into a person that means bad.
server gone.should get in in the start get out quickly
Please notify me about what is happening to Minvestment. Since yesterday their server has been down, no communication from them, no interest payment. I am very worried about my $1700 I have there.
Hi fidel, I’m not sure whether you’re asking in the right blog, but I’d hope you’ll be able to get back your $1,700.00 too.
Chances of Minvestment as a legal and genuine investment opportunity is way too slim.
Ihave tried other sites like
Invest-manager.com
opentrade.com
and now Minvestment.com.
It looks like they are all scams.
What I want to know is how do they
get away with it.
Is there anything that can be done
to stop these scams.
hey benson.do you have any advice on another investment company as minvestment……..was a good idea until now…….
I wish I had known about e-bullion. I made a withdrawal request from Minvest on the 18th. Usually it is wired to ebullion in a matter of minutes. My request was not acknowledged by ebullion at all. I sent them a bull horn email, however Minvest responded and told me not to worry upper management was on the problem and they would have it resolved in a few days. I was not able to withdraw my money from egold. Minvest told me I had to deposit through my egold account before I could withdraw. Wed I went to withdraw through Liberty only to find the blank screen. I’m a bit upset. My money went down with Minvest.
I opened an account with minvestment but could not transfer funds from e-bullion. Sent 5 emails but got no response from minvest. Tried calling but did get anyone. So much for 24-7 customer support…. Now, as you know, minvest server is down. What a surprise…..
i Cant open minvestment page at all. is this a scam or what? Has n e one else been experiencing the same problem?
Has anyone gotten a payout, actual cash, or interest from minvestment?? and since the site has been down for days now, do u believe it to be a well thought out scam???
Shenneil, actually what makes you think this isn’t a scam in the first place? The web site design? Or the people who has been cheering how fantastic it is?
Well thats a lesson learnt – if it sounds to good to be true it normally is, Im very dissaponted in Min and open trade people they should be ashamed of themselves, they were both paying out but then just pulled the plug, why all that rubbish with Liberty Reserve. I am reading all the stuff about doing forex myself now BUT can you even trust that? Just off to have a stiff drink!
Everyone has their ideas buy their is no solution to the problem. I had over 2,000 dollars my life savings and that is the result.
Four days ago i tried earnestly to get my referal money but to no avail. I don’t know if they paid referal nor compounded interest.what to do?
The site is gone. Money is lost. Fortunately I got in early, I was able to recover all money and more.
Hey guys, it was suggested that Minvest had been under a DDos attack. basically, their server was overloaded with requests,. That would explain why there was no communication and could also explain why the server is now down. Perhaps they are working on the problem. What do yo think, sounds reasonable or just wishful thinking???
I found some info that is quite interesting. Go to this site. alexa.com It shows website traffic. Minvest claims to have been trading since 2000. Well, upon till 2007, there hasnt been any traffic or activity on the minvest. site. Do acomparison with any other ste and it will be clear.
I have read with keen interest all that is posted re Minvestment and e-bullions move to “cut” MI. Correct, this is high risk and one should deposit what he can afford to loose. Having said that, I urge you to go to the Better Business Bureau’s web site, and digest the latest e-bullion warning and rating? Hopefully MI is working thru their technical issues and will be back up soon. Good luck to all!!
Kevin, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but from what can be seen, there is no indication of DDOS. One can look at DNS and see when a site is being DDOS’d and this doesn’t appear to be the case.
Minvestment was given booted from e-Bullion and given a week to liquidate and make arrangements for to move other processors. They chose to stick around for 2 weeks and create as many false accounts as possible with the intention of bailing before the big 150 day maturity payout.
Solid Investment, A3Union, Investmanager, Open Trade…these are all the same guys operating this. Most likely the Russian mob. They roll a small percentage of their ill-gotten gains from one scam into the next one for the first stage of payouts to create a “story” and it just snowballs from there.
Again, I don’t see the reason why people want to join HYIPs..
I’d probably come up with something in the evening about HYIPs.. and would like to tell everyone to steer clear of them.
For goodness sake, anyone who made money out of HYIPs, someone else is losing it.
Allow me to confirm that Minvestment has become http://wwwgprshyip.com. There is no doubt. On their own homepage, in their incredible haste to rob Min investors, they forgot to remove their name from the new script on the second to last paragraph. Mind bloggling stupidity! Please be aware that no one should waste their valuable time and money with this new scam.
Hi all, well thanks Alan for your dilligence, I suggest we all bombard them with complaints in the strongest terms, Ive sent mine, maybe we will get a refund to make us go away but Im not going to hold my breath.
Note the . is missing after www in the link so you will have to type it in
and Benson have you never been broke, obviously now we know how it works wouldnt do it again but it seemed very plausable at the time, just one payout would have put us straight all the hopes and dreams simply disappeared
I agree 100% with you Alan we need to sprad the word about this scam site
http://wwwgprshyip.com.
Jayne, I’m sorry but even with or without my warning, any HYIPs would have continued. Believe me, try checking scam.com or any of the sites. When the site has started, people already know they’re just games.
Also Minvestment went down not because of DMW, it was down already when I wrote the article.
My goodness! It is unbelievable that Minvestment is gone. A hyip company that holds a lot of promise and trust!
I never believed that Minvesment can be scammers. I invested up to $1200 of my hard earned money and encouraged everybody else to invest, including my relations, friends and associates. I don’t even know how to break the news to some of them.
The most unfortunate thing is that there is no watch-dog from US government to monitor all these investment companies online and stop all these bullshit!
Thousands of people’s money gone into the wind without any justice?
Time will tell. I keep my fingers crossed.

Hi Fidel, welcome to the club!, yes its dissapointing to have to go back and tell them its a no go, good luck.
Its an interesting point you raise about a watch dog etc. Im in the UK and there was an article in the Sun newspaper about the government setting up Specialist scambuster units to the tune of £7.5m, I will find out more and report back, hopefully the US government are actually looking into it as well.
remember all, there is no get rich quick scheme……..Unless it is dishonest. When i was first told about this “plan”, alarm bells went off in my head. When i saw the minvestment web site, red flags went up. I went into it because a friend had total confidence in them. I even told him that i dont trust it. I invested $200 which came from my overtime pay. If I lost that money, it wouldnt affect me at all. The thought that i could take $200 and turn it into $20000 in 150 days sounded too good to be true. But if it worked, It would solve a lot of my financial issues. So I tried it. Lets face it, if any of these plans worked, everyone would be rich. But the fact is that most of us have to work our 8 hours to pay the bills. If you must, invest what you can afford to loose. And WHEN you loose it, dont cry about it. Tell yourself that you should have known better.
Hi all
EVERYONE GO TO THIS SITE AND FIND OUT WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON WITH MINVESTMENT http://cc-so.com//blog/ I WOULD LIKE A PIECE OF EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE MINVESTMENT SCAM!!!
Hi ok Ive been to that site, lawyers looking for minvestment, am I being paranoid but there is something fishy about it, the second bit down talks about a legitamite Hyip within E-Gold/E-bullion (but wasent min!) then the email they give you is a gmail which is the same provider used by the new scam gprshyip. So I am thinking its all b******t!
Let all stand against all form of scam on internet.
It is saddened to see minvestment ran away with people hard earned money in the long run.
today is 13th February, 2008 does anyone has any good news about what’s up with minvestment
There is has been any positive indication about them comming back.
Minvestment or any other hyip companies are all bullshit! Scammers!
They have all ONE PURPOSE: to deceive, steal and vanish!
Let nobody be deceived, for Minvestment to run away, no other hyip will not do the same.
Let everybody stay away from hyips, I repeat let’s stay away from them. They are scammers.
Let us all trade with our money for ourselves by ourselves. Period!
It sounds like a hard sermon but I never believed Minvestment would turn out to be a scam. It’s unbelievable my $1200 plus is gone!

It is a great unfortunate exprience for we online investors especially we that lost significantly to Minvestment latest HYIP SCAM. Others that I have lost recently are: http://www.stablegold.com, http://www.ontime-paying.com change to .net now and http://www.a3union.com.
Let all stand against all form of online scams through forums and our blogs. we can do it, we can report them, we can orientate people around us against them. My country people lost Millions of dollars to HYIP’s world last year and this new year few millions of naira has gone again. These scammers took advantage of people financial inadequacy and eagerness to earn passively online.
