PS3 and PSP: So Happy Together

Looks like Sony plans to offer more integration between the PlayStation 3 console and the PlayStation Portable. The two have seen some updates of late (i.e. the remote play feature), but Sony Computer Entertainment doesn’t want to stop there.
John Koller (SCEA Director of Hardware Markating) revealed the following in an interview with IGN:
“I think as we go forward, we’re going to see a lot more integration with PlayStation 3, particularly as the install base of the PS3 continues to grow stratospherically in many ways, and the integration that is going to occur there is part and parcel of the strategy that the console is the living room hub and really where your entertainment flows,”
“Then, your PSP is your digital living room on the go, and being able to access your PS3 in a wide variety of ways is really a key part of our overall branding strategy. That’s going to be something that you’re going to see expanded on in future firmware updates and other things.”
It certainly sounds promising and I look forward to hearing more about what Sony has in store for PS3/PSP owners.

playstation .sony has a great gaming setup in mind by having a little carry along buddy that interacts with the main console im an old gamer from atari days .and my thoughts are nintendo. and xbox should have donr the same thing ..but then again xbox has no handheld and nintendo has ds witch does nothing with the wii….so i say sony has the right idea .and give sony time and the psp and ps3 will be con-joined twins..lol
