PSP Kicks DS’s Butt on Amazon.com

While the Nintendo DS is outselling the PSP worldwide, Amazon.com is reporting that the PSP has a lead on the DS at its e-tail store. The PSP Value Pack has climbed the retail charts to #5, while Mr. Mario and his Bundled Kart are settled at the #10 spot. Let’s take into consideration that the PSP retails for $100 more than the Nintendo DS, which means people are digging deep into those pockets in order to get the PSP. Must mean that Sony is doing something very right as far as Amazon customers are concerned.

I’m sure these customers will be kicking themselves once they realize that they won’t be able to learn the Fine Art of Female Orgasms on the PSP. Tsk tsk.

Meanwhile, over there in Japan, the Nintendo DS is outselling pretty much every other console. I guess that for them, Nintendogs has got more appeal than even the Xbox 360.

And people were complaining about the price and lack of availability of the Atari Lynx back in the good ol 90’s.

Then I think they went for the Nintendo Gameboy.

Don’t know what point I was trying to make! It sounded good in my head, but my fingers are taking the autonomous route tonight and not following the brain…

Ah got it – Nintendo has basically led the hand held market since then.
