Pulling A Rabbit Out Of Your Hat

Do you ever feel like you are a magician pulling a rabbit out of your hat when it comes to social media? Do some of the things that you can do with social media surprise you? Have you found that when you do something new and different that it surprises your followers? Then you have mastered the art of “pulling a rabbit out of your hat”.

magic.jpgThe idiom, “pulling a rabbit out of your hat”, simply means that you able to create surprising solutions to problems that are presented to you. When it comes to social media, understand what would work best for you can sometimes create its own set of problems. That’s why it may seem at times that you are pulling a rabbit out of your hat when you develop creative ways to use social media to grow your followers or get your message out.

Developing innovative social media tactics doesn’t mean that you are underhanded or distructive with your methods. It means that you choose positing and creative ways to use social media. To help you identify innovative social media tactics, I have create a starter list below:

  • Get to know your followers and allow them to get to know you
  • Ask your followers what they think and share your thoughts with them
  • Connect with others who have common interests to open lines of continual communication
  • Use video or audio to deliver your message via websites like YouTube, 5min, or 12Seconds
  • Respond in a timely manner with those who contact you via social media
