PURE WEIGHT LOSS REFUND INFORMATION

(FranchisePick.Com) If you are a Pure Weight Loss customer who is owed a refund for prepaid Pure Weight Loss program fees, incentives and/or food products, here’re some things you can do.

Contact Your local Pure Weight Loss center

The centers are open limited hours M W F & Sat until January 4, when they close for good. If you are owed food products they may have some on hand, or else you’ll need to get a refund request. Be nice… the employees were just as shocked as you… and they’re out of a job.

Get a Refund Request from your local Pure Weight Loss center

A Pure Weight Loss customer service representative I spoke to today recommended getting a Refund Request form from your local center and filling it out and submitting it to the corporate office in PA as soon as possible. She said the centers are open limited hours M W F & Sat until January 4, when they close for good. Processing could take up to 8 weeks.

Contact the Pure Weight Loss customer service line at 1-877-524-3571 and/or email them at custservice@pureweightloss.com. (The rep I spoke to was very nice. She would be out of work after Jan. 4. When she learned I was local, she asked if I was hiring. You may want to act quickly.)

Contact Your Credit Card Company

If you paid with a credit card, call the credit card company and explain the situation. Be ready with the specifics of what you paid for that you didn’t receive. They may be able to charge back the merchant’s account and issue you a credit. It’s an advantage of paying with credit cards.

    Sean,
    No high & low. I sent in all my info, and to my surprise on May 29, 2008 I received a letter from the AG office. To me it gave me a little bit of hope.. Sending letter so you can read & everyone else. I was even assigned an Agent. There are no high & lows only hope.

    Dear Consumer:
    The Public Protection Division – Health Care Section acknowledges receipt of your
    complaint against Pure Weight Loss and would like to inform you that on January 23, 2008,
    Attorney General Thomas W. Corbett, Jr. filed an action in the Commonwealth Court of
    Pennsylvania against Pure Weight Loss, seeking redress for potential violations of
    Pennsylvania’s Consumer Protection Law. The lawsuit seeks full restitution for all consumer
    claims, along with civil penalties of up to $1,000 per violation – or $3,000 for violations
    involving senior citizens. Be assured that we will periodically update you on the status of these
    proceedings as new information is presented. Agent Supervisor Jeremiah Kling will serve as
    your contact with our office.
    If you financed your purchase through a credit company, you may wish to contact
    the credit card company and challenge the charge for services and/or products that have
    not been received.
    Please note that you may have the right to bring a private legal action, however, you
    may wish to contact an attorney as the Attorney General’s Office cannot provide you with
    individual, private legal representation.

    To Whom It May Concern:

    Per telephone conversation with Laura on March 20, 2008 I have enclosed the following.

    Enclosed you will find a copy of my monthly transaction. 12/1/2007 Pure WeightLoss took out $229.95.

    Also have sent you a copy of UPS tracking..You can see when it left my town and on 12/05/2007 it was delivered..also the person who signed for it.

    I DON’T have a client ID # as I DID NOT order this product. If I wanted to sign up I would have gone threw my daughter as she worked for Pure WeightLoss…Even her manager & supervisor were stunned.

    Well thank God for the order# as the supervisor confirmed and granted me my refund of $229.95…I’ve made numerous calls and they told me my refund was processing..When I heard they were closing WeightLoss I called again. I was reassured that the closing would have NO EFFECT on my refund as it was processing..I’m still WAITING.

    I took everyones word as to being honest..Here it is 3/20/2008
    and still NO REFUND. A refund that I was promised to receive by 1/2/2008. I kept my word and sent the package back, now I wish WeightLoss would keep there word as well…

    Please, for the love of God keep your word and send me my money..please. It’s not that hard to be nice.
