Put That USB Flash Drive to Emergency Use

September 6, 2007 by Jason Bean

sandisk-2gb-titanium I just read this good article on how to setup a flash drive as an emergency bootable drive.

I’ve been carrying these things around now for a number of years. Up to this point though, it’s always been for mostly transferring or transporting various files.

I like reading things like this because you know if you take the time to set this up, one of these days you’ll probably use and be glad you had it available.

I work in IT for a company that selles a lot of USB Flash Drives and did this some time ago. I’ve already used it several times on our Dells, so the small setup time for me wwas well worth it.
