  1. Two books – 1) The Bible….sufficient for all things – especially ethics and the application of my labors 2) A Passion for Excellence, by Tom Peters….revolutionary!

    Richa Dad Poor Dad. Kiyosaki has since been revealed to be somewhat of a sanke oil merchant, but that book woke me up. It made me realize the 50+ hrs on the treadmill working for ‘the man’ was ultimately only going to enrich ‘the man’.

    As such, I stepped out, started my own business and now work 40 much more fulfilling hours, and earn 8x what I made schlepping through the cubicle forest.
