Rafa Out at ABN Amro

When I first saw the name of this tournament, I thought it said “ABN Amor.” For those who don’t know – “amor” means love in Spanish. Then I looked closer and realized I was just stupid.

Rafael Nadal, the last remaining seeded player in the draw got the pink slip by Andreas Seppi in a 6-3, 3-6, 4-6. Nikolay Davydenko, David Ferrer and Tommy Robredo were all knocked out Tuesday.

This tournament is only the third since 2000 to have no seeded players in the quarterfinals of an ATP tournament.

Obviously this tournament is all about the little tennis players that could.
