Raw Shaping Up To be Great

After a SmackDown on Friday that failed to impress (me anyways) we are presented with a Raw preview of what looks to be a very good night. We alluded to tonight’s Raw with some early announcements yesterday but tonight the episode happens and it is star studded with lots of other “brand” stars set to appear.

First, we are within 2 weeks of Wrestlemania meaning the heat gets turned up on allegiances and rivalries including the tense situation between Shawn Michaels and John Cena. With that in mind the two tag team champions will compete in singles action tonight on Raw. John Cena is set to face U.S. Champion Chris Benoit while JBL unretires for a night to face Shawn Michaels. The biggest unknown is whether MVP will make an appearance to disrupt the Cena and Benoit match. Remember, MVP will be facing Benoit at Wrestlemania for the US title.

Also, last week on Raw the MasterLock Challenge was issued and no one answered. This week that will not be the case as Bobby Lashley has accepted the open challenge. Can the ECW Champion break the hold? I hope so because this promo is boringgg.

Also recently Kane and Khali have been trading statements back and forth so I would not be surprised to see Khali answer Kane’s attack on Daivari.
