Reading RSS via a ticker

Here is a RSS Reader that assumes the form of a ticker or a news crawler. RSS Show , which can be downloaded here. was developed by fpaplov. In the product description it claims that the reader can take as much feed URL as one can get and the reader will display their posts or articles in the ticker window. The gadget runs exclusively on Windows Vista. Or it seems so. You can download it for free.

This gadget lets you preview your RSS feeds. You can add any number of feed URLs and the gadget will display their articles in a scrolling ticker window. All articles from all feeds will be shuffled and article’s color will indicate its age. If the user clicks a title of an article the gadget will display an article preview and a link to a whole story.[Source]

Unfortunately, I do not have Windows Vista so I cannot evaluate the product. I wonder how different or similar it is to Firefox’s RSS Ticker, which we encountered before. And I wonder what really is the maximum number of feeds that can be placed into the gadget and how well it can cope when the number of feeds reach the hundreds. And that would be nice to know.
