Real American Meta-Heroes

Remember when Budweiser’s “Real Men of Genius” campaign was “Real American Heroes?” Some Cadets at West Point resurrected on of the early radio spots, added some pictures of Midshipmen male cheerleaders and created a video of tremendous comedic trash-talk.
Now, I’m all for mocking male cheerleaders. They’re one of the few easy targets where one won’t be chided for making the easy joke. C’mon, they’re dudes who cheerlead. But what is really bothering me about this video is that these people may be male cheerleaders, but they’re also in the Navy. So, technically, they are real American heroes. Sure, soldiers can mock sailors, but can I? Am I not supporting the troops by posting this? It’s quite the conundrum.

It doesn’t matter if you are soldier, if you are a cheerleading male you get made fun of. Period. It doesn’t matter if you’re tough as nails and have gallons of courage, you are still making an ass of yourself and for that you shall be mocked.
haha tom should we make fun of you for living in the same room as a make cheerleader… and i think these cheerleaders are the difference makers in the army navy game… i mean its not even close any more quit painful.
Very insulting. You just lost a reader
