Rebranding Santa Claus

I believe I read about the ultimate rebranding initiative today - in terms of ridiculousness at least.
It seems that the Westaff recruitment firm is telling the temporary workers they’re hiring to play Santa Claus in Sydney, Australia that they should not use the traditional Santa (or Father Christmas in Australia) laugh of “ho, ho, ho” as it might be offensive to women. Instead, the part-time Santas should use “ha, ha, ha.”
You see, a hardy Santa’s ”ho, ho, ho” could be misconstrued as a derogatory remark towards women since the slang word for a loose woman or prostitute is “ho.”
Your responses please….
Here’s mine – ludicrous!

You don’t rebrand a brand that’s worked for more than a hundred years.
That was our ultimate Christmas joke, that Santa was a pimp: Ho, ho, ho! They took the fun out of this as well now :(
Yes it’s stupid, next thing you know indian Santas will be allowed in the UK because it would discriminate our minorities. Hmm…
That is COMPLETELY insane.
This just makes me smile.
It makes you wonder what nut thinks up these things.
