Reggie Bush injured

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.

The return of the Squibster. Now the good and the bad. The good is that my most excellent boss and coworkers filled in quite nicely and that is most appreciated.

The bad is the Squibster is diagnosed with Cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. Fear not, they say the cancer is one that is curable, so let us move forward with our dreams of football!

Reggie Bush has failed to run away from the NFL

Reggie Bush (Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)The Saints may be upset, but the NFL is really upset. Reggie Bush is injured and may not play in the Monday Night Football game.

Reggie Bush has a partially torn left knee ligament that likely won’t require surgery but could sideline him for Monday night’s game at Atlanta.

Saints coach Sean Payton said Bush would be listed as questionable on the injury report and added whether Bush plays will be a game-time decision.
“We’ll monitor where he’s at,” Payton said after Friday’s practice, which Bush sat out. “I’m still hopeful for this weekend’s game. source

Since the game is against Atlanta, a major part of the marketing would have been to see Reggie Bush.

Not that Reggie has set the NFL on fire, but he has made his contributions and is always a threat to take it to the house.

Bush has scored six touchdowns with 581 yards rushing and 417 yards receiving. His longest run so far has been 22 yards and his longest reception 25. He has 10 dropped passes and has fumbled eight times, though his team has recovered all but three of those.

While at this point it appears the Reggie Bush will never be “The Reggie Bush” that was predicted to take the NFL by storm, he is still a hot marketing property and still learning the game. Reggie does have immense physical talent.

His own quarterback, Drew Brees, suggested that while Bush’s athletic superiority was plain to see, the young running back was still “learning how to be a professional,” and probably would have been better off if injured tailback Deuce McAllister was still around to mentor him.

Given a couple days off this week to digest his teammate’s comments, Bush agreed. source

Let’s hope Reggie’s knee if fine and heals quick. It is always more fun to have a Reggie Bush in the league than not to have one.

Reggie Bush is the best player in the NFL

  2. James Edwards says:

Wow, he is not even the best player on his team. He is not even the best player on the offense. He is not even the best running back. How can you say he is the best?
