Terrific!!! I would love to see a 1/6-1/4 scale Martin Mars (JRM-1) flying boat, outfitted as the only surviving 2 left in the world... water bombers for fighting forest fires in British Columbia. See article Air & Space Smithsonian magazine issue Oct/Nov 1993 entitled "Dan McIvor's Mars Mission" by Ken Gouldthorpe with awesome photos by Phil Schofield. I am in the process of building a much smaller version @ 1/12 scale. (R/C elec. powered) I'm willing to bet that Mac Hodges could build a fascinating model of this aircraft... especially where it's powered by 4 Curtiss Wright radials as was the B-29.
