Fellow b5 video games channel blog Re:Retro has found a great little article at Progressive Boink that will make you feel like you’re once again in 1990. It’s based around a Nintendo catalogue from that darling year and it will have you in stitches just looking at the cover image. If you were a child of the 80’s, I’m sure you recognize the fashion and style that made the transition into the 1990’s so distinct…and embarrassing. If 90’s hair and a strange resemblance to the red light district (colour only people! colour onlyyy!) doesn’t make you squeamish, then hop on over and have a peek.
Make absolutely sure to read the picture captions, they had me rolling on the floor with their urgings to “nurture your budding anal retentiveness”, be “big time cool”, and the pseudo-pornographic description of a Castlevania gaming night. If that’s the world of Nintendo…I’m not sure I want to go there.
Can’t…stop…laughing.
