ResumeBear.com – Free Account For Job Seekers!

December 29, 2008 by Darlene McDaniel

Resumes have a shelf life of about 2-5 seconds in the hand of a hiring manager. So, you have a moment to make a first impression. I wrote this line in a previous post, Resume – Access to the Interview. Resumes are critical keys to your success in the hiring process. Given my statement concerning the shelf life of a resume, I want to introduce you to a site I stumbled on recently, ResumeBear.com. ResumeBear.com is a great site for you to check out if you are currently in a job search. My readers have been offered the opportunity to use their tool for tracking your resume at no cost. More to come on this promotional opportunity below.

Why Do Resumes Fail according to ResumeBear:

* Employers Do Not Open Attachments
* Never received via e-mail
* Broken formatting
* Poorly written cover letters and resumes
* Indistinguishable from other resumes

ResumeBear.com offers:

1. Real-time tracking of resume – Know your resume arrived safely and be notified when it is reviewed. Real time tracking of your resume. You will know when your resume is opened, forwarded, and printed.

2. Active alerts available for notification – You will be able to set up active alerts so you will know in real time when your resume has been opened and is being read.

3.  Resume Creation Wizard available.

4. Perfect formatting Guaranteed

5. Tutorials available to help you perfect your resume.

Here is the offer to my readers here at Interview Chatter:

  1. Too bad it is only for USA and Canada.

  2. Hi Todor,
    Thank you for stopping by Interview Chatter. What country do you live in? I am happy to send your request to my contact there. Please respond to this comment and I will forward your request on. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with in your job search.

  3. Thanks, Darlene. I live in Bulgaria, but at the registration page there is no such an option, this is why I posted my first comment.

    I believe that the ResumeBear.com will add other coutries soon – it is only in their best interest.

    Regards from Bulgaria!

    what a great deal! I’m twittering it.

  5. Hi Tracee, Thanks for stopping by Interview Chatter! Thanks for the Twitters!! Have a great night. Make sure you stop by and let me know how this tool assisted you with your job search!

  6. Thanks for the link. It’s important to remember that your resume can make or break you. Having a professional review your resume, make recommendations, and refine it can help you get in the door (at the least). With a bad resume, you won’t even accomplish that.

  7. Hi Aleksandar! Thanks for stopping by tonight! You are absolutely correct. Bad resumes close doors for job seekers. I also believe that resumes that are created by experts that pad accomplishments, are equally bad. Your thoughts?

  8. Belinda Schumacher says:

    I checked out the link and made a new resume. Pretty impressive, I liked all of the options to customize my resume. Lots of helpful information on the site for job seekers. Amazing deal.
