One area of the world that is attracting more and more retiring Americans is the country of Malaysia. Located in Southeast Asia with a population of around 30 million, Malaysia has a lot of quality reason why it makes a good retirement destinations. Here are our top five reason to consider retiring in Malaysia:

1. Supported by Government
The Malaysian government is actively trying to draw Americans to Malaysia during their retirement years. As a result, there are many perks and incentives.

2. Language
Although Malay is the official language in Malaysia, English is the second language. Many of the country’s people can speak fluent English, which makes everything much easier.

3. Open Culture
There are many countries that have rigid culture rules and aren’t open to outsiders. The opposite is true in Malaysia.

4. Great Weather
Considering that the entire country is within a short drive of the ocean, it’s no surprise that the weather in Malaysia is great year-round.

5. Golf
If you love golf, you’ll be stunned at how many high quality golf courses you can find in this country. Malaysia has new golf courses under development all the time.
