Review of the Movie Rounders

Rounders is a poker movie starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton. The two elite actors give a magical performance in one of the most enshrined gambling movies of all time. Damon plays Mike McDermott, a law student who gives up poker only to see it come back into his life when he reunites with Norton’s character, Les Murphy aka “Worm”.
McDermott struggles to balance law school and poker. The balancing act is made tougher by Worm’s underhanded nature which leads him into rough spots with the wrong characters. McDermott’s ultimate goal is to make a big splash in Vegas, but he faces a huge uphill climb throughout the whole movie.
Whether or not you’re a poker fan, the plot is outstanding with outstanding acting.
