HRcellBlock (FranchisePick.Com)  FranWorst.com reports rumors that beloved millionaire-maker and franchise visionary Richard Quick, Esq. is developing a revolutionary tax franchise concept tentatively named H&R Cell Block

According to unnamed sources deep inside the QuickCo Public Relations Dept., the billionaire entrepreneur was inspired by a blog post that appeared on Kelly Erb’s TAX GIRL blog.

Quick was inspired by the story of entrepreneur Melanie Taylor, who recently pleaded guilty to conspiracy to tax fraud.  Taylor devised a scheme for improving prison productivity and building the self-esteem and cigarette and tattooo funds of  inmates at the Maryland Department of Corrections and other prisons:

From 2004 to 2007, Taylor received and mailed tax returns to the IRS on behalf of prison inmates. She made money for herself and the inmates by claiming refunds that were not actually due; those returns were directly deposited into her bank account. To make the scheme more viable, Taylor used a fake name to and received an Employee Identification Number (EIN) for a false construction company.

Taylor passed along some of the funds to the inmates in the form of cash or items for their use. She kept the remainder for herself.

Richard Quick, Esq. is refining the scheme with the assistance of the legal team of his law firm, Quick, Duhk, & Hyde.  FranWorst.com reports that it H&R CELL BLOCK be the first franchise opportunity designed for prison inmates, many of whom are skilled professionals with extensive franchise experience.
