Rojo undergoing a major makeover?

Is this true? Rojo is going to emulate a Phoenix. A Phoenix is a bird from myth. Harry Potter fans would be familiar with this bird. It was believed that when a Phoenix would die it would end its life in a pyre of fire. And in that fire an egg would be found that would hatch into the Phoenix. And if the news is true Rojo and its owner is poised or has done a Phoenix.

And this is according to a post, Rojo RSS Reader Plans a “Life Change”, by Eric Griffith at AppScout this seems to be case.

The online RSS Reader will cease to be and will be reborn. But it will come back with a new name, a new look and a new set of goals and objectives.

Rojo described itself as “the best free RSS and Atom feed reader,” is owned by Six Apart – ex owners of Live Journal and developers/makers of Movable Type and Type Pad.

What new form Rojo will take after going to the fire? Let us wait and see.
