Ron Gilbert? He’s crazy
This morning, I took a look at Double Fine’s website only to find out that Tim Schafer did an interview with the ever so cool website, Joystiq. Well, it really wasn’t an “interview” by the typical definiton of the word. It was more like Tim Schafer was messing with the minds of the poor interviewer, Ludwig Kietzmann, of the Joystiq crew. And when Tim messes with your mind, it’s probably going to be funny as hell.
In this interview, Ludwig let Tim participate in Joystiq’s GDC Quest Quiz Feature, which was given to several different people throughout the gaming industry in an attempt to see how that person thinks and handles themselves in this fun little interview. The quiz? Using an assorted array of items, you must get yourself past a robotic bear protecting a cave. Most interviewee’s like Ragnar Tørnquist, just answered the question to the best of their ability and that was that.
Tim, on the other hand, took a different route. He solved the puzzle by playing a text adventure game with Ludwig. And the results are humourous in a way to induce side splitting… well, humor.
